Bolton Learning Event

Bolton Learning Event

Date Posted: 03/10/25

The Bolton Locality Learning Event, part of Fairer Health for All initiative, took place on Monday 15th September 2025. This event brought together 45 participants from various organisations and teams across Greater Manchester to hear and learn about:

  • The Bolton Prevention and Inequalities Framework - including about how this is being embedded by partners right across the Locality.
  • The Bolton Principles for Community Engagement: co-produced with communities. The journey of how these were produced, how they are being utilised and the benefit of these in helping to reduce inequalities was discussed.

It was great opportunity to learn from the work and approaches used in Bolton and to consider how this can apply to our own areas of work/roles within Greater Manchester.
Please see page Bolton Prevention Framework – Bolton JSNA for links to a flipbook format, pdf format, blank prevention triangle and links to the prevention triangle app that allows you to populate your own as well as other useful resources.

Each locality area of Greater Manchester is being encouraged to look at hosting a locality learning event. When we have details of these, these will be added to the Fairer Health for All Events page here
