Leadership

How can leadership help us create the conditions for Fairer Health for All?

Leadership is the everyday things that people do that one by one make a difference. This is what we do, say, feel, think, and inspire. We see leadership as something for everyone. Something for the many not the few. It is not about a position or being a leader, it’s about leadership, behaviours and mindset.

How are we developing leadership for Fairer Health for All?

System Scoping

We have talked with many different people across GM to understand:

  • current leadership offers.
  • future plans
  • impact
  • opportunities to connect and collaborate

We made sure that we heard from the spaces and people that are seldom heard.

Insight Gathering

From this insight gathering, we know:

  • that we already have lots of brilliant leadership programmes
  • we need to support and influence the existing offers
  • we need to create meaningful spaces for people to explore leadership
  • we need to join the dots and make the links to have greater impact
  • enabling the leadership that is happening in communities everyday will support Fairer Health for All
