Fairer Health for All brings together pan-GM action on health equity into one easy space.

Our space for shared learning shows how, as a system – we are tackling health inequalities, addressing health equity, fostering inclusion and championing sustainability to:

•       Build capacity and capability for Population Health

•       Scale-up effective approaches to tackle health inequalities and variation in outcomes

•       Enable cross-sectoral leadership and minimise barriers to inclusion, equity and sustainability

The Ask: We know there is incredible work happening across the system to tackle health inequalities and we invite you to share it with the Greater Manchester network, so we can learn together, and scale-up best practice interventions focused on three key learning areas:

Community-led health and wellbeing: How are we mobilising or strengthening, people and communities to take an active role in their own health or exercise more choice and control in services?

Social Model for Health: How are we looking beyond the medical model of illness to tackle wider social determinants through arts and culture, education and employment, healthy homes and strong communities, physical activity and active travel, healthy weight, and food security or beyond?

Creating healthy and sustainable places: How are we addressing the root causes of poor health by ensuring a health-in-all policies approach and creating anchor systems that use the assets and resources at our disposal to influence the health and wellbeing of the local community?
